John Fry Named 威尼斯赌场网站’s 15th President
7月3日, 2024, the 校董会 approved the appointment of John Fry as 威尼斯赌场网站’s 15th president. President-elect Fry is nationally recognized as an innovative and impactful higher education leader who boasts the experience and capabilities our community made clear were needed in the next president.
He will begin his tenure as Temple's next president after new leadership has been named at Drexel University.
威尼斯赌场网站 President Richard M. Englert
Richard M. Englert was appointed president of 威尼斯赌场网站 on Sept. 26, 2023.
Englert, who joined Temple in 1976 as an assistant to the dean of the College of Education, has a rich history of leadership at the university. This marks Englert’s third term as Temple’s chief executive officer, previously serving as president from 2016 to 2021, and acting president for six months in 2012. The 校董会 originally appointed him as chancellor in 2012, and again after his service as the 11th president in 2021.
He continues to contribute to Temple's academic community as a professor in the College of Education and Human Development.
